Yeah I know, I know. I can’t believe my eyes either! It’s like my wet dreams are all coming true.

Hollywood actually wears French Intellectualism well, like a skimpy polka-dot bikini on Anna Karina.

But then again, mainstream Hollywood in the 1970s was a completely different planet.

P.S. If you want a good Ionesco-meets-Fellini adaptation, try looking (look hard) for Mario O’Hara’s BABAE SA BREAKWATER, a Filipino film. It’s one of the films that makes me proud to be Filipino, born and raised.
